A song by song guide to The Stereo Morphonium EP by Joël Neumatic.

1). The Stereo Morphonium -- this was started in 2004 by Darren in London. he did the drums , bass synth , chord progression , vocoder vocal in the chorus , synths in the chorus , and the solo. I did the synths in the verse , lyrics and vocals , circuit bent speak&read.

2). Pigeon Box -- this was the last of the original 6 songs we wrote together in London in 2001. I brought in the main synth riff and we built around that. Darren did the synth bass , synth stabs , Moog white noise sound , and the original drums. I re-did the drums in NYC and plays some synth bass too. the main JX3P synth , the ending lead synth , and also the robot voice. the "pigeon box" is the name Darren called my secret black synth box.

3). Gemini 6 -- written by Me in a small NE London flat in 2001 on the JX. Darren did the synth bass , drums , synth stabs , and the spaceship sounds. I did the main synth , plus LFO sounds and some synth pads.

4). Plight Of The Manhattanite -- the lyrics came about after I had sent emails to Darren telling him all about the fleas , 98 flys that came out of a hole under the tub  , mice , rats , roaches in his Harlem NYC apartment and the ceiling that almost flattened me whilst on the toilet ! I wrote the drums and bass synth and the progression , Speak&Read , plus some background synths. Darren pretty much did the rest ... lyrics and vocals , synths : weird synths and lead synths , female vocal percussion.

5). Ozmodiar -- named after a character from "The Simpsons" ! written in 2001 . the main bass synth riff and drums were done by Darren. the leads were split by both , Darren takes the solo in the middle and the vocoder voice. I did the "weirder" sounding synths , random Moog sounds , the "pink radio" percussion , and some extra drums.

all songs written by Joël & Darren 2001/2004 and mixed by Joël

some synths that were used : JX3P , Juno106 , Moog Rogue + Source , Prophet 5 + 600 , Poly61
, Trinity , modular ,
