Blind girl with halo
The girl is blind and beautiful,

And the wicked thoughts of my poisonous mind have been cured for tonight everything is alright,

Other Information
I was writing a lot of songs like this in a calculated way thinking, 'What kind of song would the kids want to hear'. Bear in mind that at the time I was about 26/27. On 'Love' we double tracked the entire band , one is on the left , the other on the right. An excellent idea which came from Tony Doogan the engineer. It wasn't so excellent when Too Pure told me it was going to be a single and I had to go back and replace all the 'Fucks' with 'Touches'.
Destroyed Cowboy Falls is one of the oldest of Hefner songs written years before this time even, probably when I was listening to too much Palace, its OK still.
We did about 20 or so songs in the BGH sessions, 'Blind girl' is another one. The lyrics are bad but these three b-sides have a mood that perhaps could have appeared on the album more.
 'Goethe' was written by a guy called Mathew who I no longer keep contact with. He was in this band called the New Bad Things who are most famous for a song called 'I suck' which Peel played every night for about four years, both this and 'Blind Girl' were played a lot at the early gigs.
